Choosing a canvas tote people will keep using

Product guide

A tote bag earns its place through practical dimensions and comfortable handling, not just the size of its logo.

Define the contents

Start with what the bag must hold: documents, clothing, groceries or a gift set. Specify the approximate dimensions and load. A gusset can help accommodate bulky items; a flat tote may be sufficient for a brochure and light accessories.

Check construction

Handle length affects whether the bag is carried by hand or over the shoulder. Seams, attachment points and fabric construction deserve as much attention as fabric weight. Ask to inspect a sample with a realistic load rather than judging only an empty bag.

Place the artwork carefully

Leave room around seams and folds. A large print does not automatically make the bag more appealing, especially if the audience will use it outside the original event. Consider a clear visual idea, restrained branding and colours that work with the fabric.

Plan the order

Confirm composition, dimensions, handles, print area, packaging and destination. Organic and conventional cotton options should be compared against the same specification. See the EOPROMOS bags and accessories category to discuss a canvas tote built around your brief.
